  • Youth Mentor Program Coordinator

    Duties Include: 

    development and implementation of fundraising campaigns, recruitment and screening 

    of volunteers, social media outreach, assistance with and support of programs, plan 

    and implement activities for mentors and mentees, record keeping. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality. 

    High school diploma or GED required, associates or bachelor's degree preferred. Two years office experience and familiarity with MS Office and social media.. 

    Criminal background check and drug test required. 

    Flexible schedule, 15 hours per week, pay range $15.08-$17.55 per hour DOE. This is a grant funded position.

  • Speech Language Pathologist


    >To provide speech pathology for students from birth to age 22 identified under state and federal regulation.

    >To share expertise with parents, community and colleagues




    • >completion of university preparation program leading to a license authorizing service as a speech pathologist issued by Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission or Oregon >Health Board of Examiners
    • >paid professional experience preferred
    • >valid driver’s license

    • >work cooperatively with ESD employees and staff of local school districts


    • >receive referrals and process them according to ESD and school district practices
    • >provide audiological, speech and language services to identified students according to federal and Oregon laws and regulations including assessment, therapy and evaluation of student progress
    • >maintain records and appropriate documentation of student performance and progress toward individual goals
    • >conduct pre-screenings and assessments of students at-large according to ESD policy and practice
    • >participate actively in Individual Education Plan (IEP) teams and/or Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) teams considering special student needs
    • >maintain professional skills including knowledge of emerging ideas and approaches
    • >consult with teachers on design, implementation and monitoring of in-class modifications
    • >provide training to district staff within the areas of professional expertise
    • >assist principal and school staff as requested to achieve school-wide goals
    • >respect established schedules with as few changes as possible

    • >placed on certified salary schedule
    • >185 day work year
    • >Public Employees Retirement System employer portion paid by district, with a deduction for the employee portion

    Salary: $45,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year
